Psalm

22

Tehillim 22

For what ?

LYRICS
Hebrew/French

Dawn, shaharin Hebrew, it is a light whose etymology seems to refer to darkness rather than day.

“He sought” and “aurora” are said in the same way. Seek ardently.

This psalm carries final Deliverance.

The dawn gazelle, say the Sages, is Esther, and it is thePsalm 22 which she recited before being introduced to King Ahasuerus.

This gazelle is vulnerable but also has a certain strength.

The people of Israel are compared to a gazelle trying to do  emerge the light of his own night and of the evil that  surrounds it.

This gazelle is the one who will show compassion to her neighbour.

She is the one who will put her trust in Hashem and will never be disappointed.

In this song, I introduce the languid complaint of Queen Esther, symbolizing klal Israel.

Listening, the Saint who sits enthroned in the midst of Israel's praises then leads him to place all his trust in Him and in his Fathers, transforming his questioning into a song of joy, to the rhythm of a festive dance.

On a smaller scale, this liberating outcome applies to the One who placesall his faith and trust in Ha Kadoch Baruch 'Hu.

This song reminds each of us that there is ultimately no question, the trials being there for the sole purpose of increasing our faith (emuna).
