The lily of the valley

The lily of the valley is the first musical composition that I interpret in English.

Lily - or Lily - of the valleys is a rose that gives a perfume (Song of Songs 2:1).

She is more beautiful than the mountain rose.

She represents the humble and delicate flower that is nestled in the clefts of the rock, hidden in the steep slopes (Song of Songs 2:12).

My Beloved is mine, and I am my Beloved, who leads his flock among the roses

(Song of Songs 2:15).
